FAQ for the Tack Sale
Q: Who does this event support?
A: The Community Tack and General Swap Meeting is held twice a year and sponsored by Horses With Heart (HwH) and the Chino Valley Equestrian Center (CVEP). Vendors pay a fee, which is then divided equally between the two non-profit groups to benefit their individual organizations.
Q: How do I/my organization get to participate?
A: Go to ; events; community tack and general swap meet. There you can complete an application either on-line or by downloading a hard copy. You must provide your own table. Your table can be any size.
Q: How do I pay to participate?
A: There are two ways to pay. On-line, once you have completed the registration form, there is an opportunity to “pay now” or “pay the day of the event”:
If you pay the day of the event, you are not guaranteed a spot the day of the event. There will be plenty of room for your table, but it might be in a less visible location.
If you pay at the time you complete the application, your table is guaranteed and will be in a more desirable location than if you are not pre-paid the day of the event. However, if you pre-pay, that fee is NOT REFUNDABLE. You can receive a tax donation form upon request for your donation.
Q: I am not a not a member of CVEP. What does it cost to participate?
A Member of CVEP can participate in the event for $20.00. If you are not a member of CVEP, the cost is $25.00. Our CVEP members support our organization throughout the year in various ways and this discounted rate is in appreciation for their support.
Q: We are a non-profit agency. Do we still have to pay the fee?
A: CVEP is working hard to support our community’s non-profit agencies. Non-profits who apply on-line identify as non-profits by checking the non-profit box and supplying the tax code number. There are no fees for non-profits.
Q: What if I want to sell out of my truck/trailer?
A: Absolutely! The fee is still one space. We’ll have designated areas for trucks/trailers to sell directly from.
Q: I want to sell my art work, can I still participate?
A: Yes! This is a general community sale and all are welcome!
Q: Where is the park located?
A: Off of Perkinsville Road East. The roads will be well marked, just follow the signs!
Q: What if the event gets cancelled on the 24th?
A: Weather date is Sunday, May 2nd. Hopefully, the weather will be lovely on the 24th and we won’t need to reschedule!
