I majored in Horse Husbandry in college and took my first job on the racetrack with Harness horses. I then moved to Colorado where I worked with and trained show horses. In the army I was able to ride a variety of different breeds in Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. After the army I became involved with showing and owning Paint horses and I currently have a wonderful paint named Denali that I show english and western, trail ride, compete in gymkhana and use for grand entry at the Prescott Rodeo.

I rode my first horse when I was a teenager. I fell off in a cloud of dust, but got back on. I am now a member of the Prescott Regulators and I am part of the National Day of the Cowboy Event held every year. I helped formulate the Prescott Regulators Long Riders and have brought back the all horse parade into downtown Prescott after a 33 years absence. I also drive a red and gold 6 seat surrey in historic downtown Prescott.
